NO , in 1990 he had a hit in the states , a remake of All the young Dudes and Tattooed Millionaire if I remember correctly it got some air time over here, but he was still making records with Maiden in 1990. I ‘m not sure if he did a big tour for that Cd.

Fuck the hair, it’s about the music. I never listen to pre-Accident Dickinson stuff, But the guy found his own vibe in music, and did great stuff with Roy Z and Adrian Smith. Those three records are quite a life accomplishment – if you don’t know them, go listen…
Plus, he also states in the sleeves to SkunkWorks that he felt old and not “fresh”. I can understand that he felt old, coz afterall the music he made got many young metalfans intrested, as they called it “modern metal”. Thats one of the things, plus he followed fashion lol
Yeah, he wanted to get rid of his Maiden side. He was a solo artist back then, but with long hair he was always connected to Iron Maiden. He was on his own, that’s the reason for haircut. I remember reading Dickinson himself telling that in one of his soloalbums’ sleeves.
Yeah but if he likes having short hair Im not complaining haha!! Maybe it feels better when getting sweaty on stage? Plus he´s old, and all men doesn´t have as nice hair as Steve has. Seriuosly mt sister freaked out when she saw a pic of Steve like “How can a man at that age have that nice shiny hair?” I think he cutted it so he didnt looked old, he was concerned that he might be too old for a fresh solocareer, and all the rockers would think he´s just and old rocker from the 80´s.

Yea I may have been a bit unclear. I thought that you were one of this annoying fanboys who dont accepts any critisism, os´r anything that SOUNDS like it, towards Maiden. What I meant was that Bruce showed to Dickson to keep playing, and he didn´t stopped the song. I took this little thing very professional. And how he quickly got he´s voice back. understand? I am not english so I do my best with the words!!

Offcorse he´s awesome! You say things like a frickin idiot without knowing anything about me!! He´s voice cracked up during the song, you can hear that clearly. If you know anything about vocals, wich I do, that doesn´t mean he´s a bad singer at all. And I was very impressed the way he handled the situation.See the chokes hes making? Hes clearing hes throat from spit to make it normal again. And than he fixed the thoat like a pro, wich he is. He want to give it to the crowd. I LOVE BRUCE!!!
